2026 SPRING TRAVEL PROGRAM
We’re excited that you’re considering being part of our upcoming spring season. Please take a moment to carefully review ALL the information below before registering.
Season Information

Practices are expected to begin in late March, with games starting in April. If player assessments are required, they will take place in March.

Travel teams practice twice per week. Practice days and times are determined by each team’s coach.

Spring travel games are played on Sundays. In-house games are played on Saturday mornings.

Travel game times may vary between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM for both home and away matches. GCYSA makes every effort to roster multiple teams with smaller player counts to maximize individual playing time. Please consider this time commitment carefully before registering. Travel players are expected to participate in all scheduled matches, both home and away.

All travel players are required to wear the current GCYSA travel jersey style (introduced Fall 2021). Players needing a new jersey may purchase one during registration checkout.

A $25 late registration fee will be applied beginning February 17. Registration closes February 27 at midnight.
Important Registration Requirements
- All players must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.
- All travel players are required to upload a birth certificate for age verification and eligibility purposes. In-house players may be asked to submit a copy of the player’s birth certificate if requested.
- Each player must have an active health insurance policy.
- Any outstanding account balances must be paid in full prior to participation in the upcoming or future seasons.
Volunteer Requirement
GCYSA is a volunteer-supported organization. Each family is required to either:
- Complete a minimum of 3 volunteer hours during the season, or
- Choose the volunteer buyout option during registration.
Please note: Each volunteer will be required to submit a $50 check to the volunteer coordinator at the beginning of the season. If volunteer hours are not completed and no buyout fee is paid by the end of the season, this check will be deposited.
