Grove City Youth Soccer Association is a non profit, volunteer organization dedicated to providing opportunities for area children to learn, play soccer in a safe and fun environment. GCYSA provides both competitive and noncompetitive divisions for boys and girls from the ages of 4 through 19 years old.

GCYSA In House programs provide a fun non-competitive environment for younger children to learn and develop soccer skills. At this level, focus is on having fun, not what the final score is at the end of the day.

GCYSA Travel teams provide a continuation of the program as a child grows. The GCYSA Travel Teams compete primarily in PA West District 7 - Lake. Travel teams are evaluated by ability and placed in one of three different “ability based” divisions.  This permits teams to complete with other teams of similar ability.

Youth Training Module

The Grove City Youth Soccer Association is hosting a Youth Training Module on January 9,2010. It will be held in the East Main Presbyterian Church. The course is instructed by PA-WEST and will give you the basics of Coaching younger players. This class is free and is open to all parents and prospective Coaches. Parents will understand how to help their player gain the skills needed to succeed. Coaches will gain the understanding of different drills and the basics needed to instruct the player. I have personally attended the Youth Modules and found them very enlightening. If your interested you must sigh up through PA-WEST at their website, pawest-soccer.org. Once you enter the site Click the Coaches tab. Next click on the calendar tab. You then look for the Youth Module held in Grove City and click the eregister tab to the right. You then will be given a form to fill out. Once completed and sent your spot will be saved at the Class. There is a limited number of spaces so enter soon. Any question please email or call me. Fall 2010 Registration Open

Soccer registration is open for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 seasons. Please visit the In-House Registration or Travel Registration pages for information, forms, and required items. Registration is available until July 17, 2010. Two registration sessions have been scheduled:

• June 12, 9:00AM - 11:00AM - Strawberry Days at the Grove City Memorial Park.
• July 17, 9:00AM - 11:00AM - East Main Presbyterian Church - Next To Grove City Middle School.

Volunteers Needed
